INGREDIENTS
  • 2 lb. small sweet potatoes (about 4)
  • all-purpose flour, for work surface
  • 1 all-purpose piecrust
  • 3/4 c. whole milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tsp. grated fresh ginger
  • 1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • 2/3 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp. confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. pure vanila extract

DIRECTIONS
